About The JobSupport the Kroger Account Team with a deeper focus of Divisional operations to enhance and improve execution of selling activities with the 22 Kroger Divisions. This unique opportunity will allow DGIC to engage with each Kroger Division Frozen Category Lead & Division VP to drive category leadership as an extension of the on-going partnership with Kroger General Office (GO). The position will require a strategic mindset to align with Kroger activities at a deeper level to close gaps on distribution, promotional effectiveness and retail pricing. Collaboration with the Kroger Account Team to develop Division level plans in conjunction with the overall executional plans that are presented to Kroger GO.

Division Level Promotional Planning

• Develop specific promotional plans by each of the 22 Divisions with a focus on driving growth and winning market share.
• Test and learns on a smaller scale.
• Supplier partnerships
• Focus on competitive insights to develop the optimal promotional plan. Seasonality will be a critical component of the promotional strategy to ensure promotional planning is executed at each specific Division.
• Work to close gaps on promotional plans/pricing that are not executed by the Division.
• Manage trade spend and financials with collaboration with the Kroger Account Team to ensure trade spend and profitability (gross margin) are aligned with budget.
• Support the Customer Account Associate (AA) with contracts for Division specific promotions.
• Maintain all necessary reporting, promotion calendars, and forecast volume as required.
  

Division Post Promotional Analysis

• Conduct weekly post promotional analysis by Division and remaining market competitive landscape through a Shared Learning Plan.
• Analyze promotion effectiveness through Circana and other data reports (Numerator, Market 6 & Stratum).
• Provide insights on “what worked” and “what didn’t work”.
  

Build and Maintain Division Relationships

• Communicate with Division Frozen Leads and Grocery VPs to implement the promotional plan, drive execution of the plan, gain distribution on new and d-build items, activate the customer category strategies, shopper marketing, and provide insight on market analysis.
• Schedule monthly meetings via Teams to provide business updates, align on strategies and develop plans in conjunction with Kroger GO.
• Ensure achievement of each Division’s targets/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Category growth, Sales, Customer service and in-stock levels, etc.

Division Market Share Analysis & Category Review

• Create a compelling selling story to drive business execution using Circana and other data reports (Numerator, Market 6 & Stratum).
• Provide Kroger GO Division insights and effectiveness of promotional execution, pricing and market insights.
• Proactive in identifying customer issues, recommending solutions, and executing effectively to ensure resolution.
• Share OMNI/Shopper marketing activities
• Supply chain updates
• Category & Shopper updates by Divisions

The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The pay scale disclosed below has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circ*mstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $90,000 and $130,000 per year.
