Review for a on Aurora

Aurora is dated and is well past if best before date. The ship was full and it felt full. Our cabin was very dated, and has never been anything close to “Deluxe”, even 24 years ago when the ship was built! The bathroom’s are bright pink from top to bottom and I haven’t experienced a shower curtain for well over 10 years! I have to say that our cabin and bathroom were kept very clean by our

Spent 14 nights on Arvia began to feel like 2 months towards the end. Overcrowded ship, queued for lifts, drinks and food. Swimming pools are tiny and full, pot luck getting in a hot tub. Horizon restaurant teeming with hungry passengers eager to eat cold and bland excuses for meals, if you like average curries and even poorer yorkshires then go for it. Evan at 12.30am i had to wait to get a cup

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Ventura
PadreRay
6-10 Cruises
• Age 60s
I am fairly loyal to P&O and still find the line a good choice. Ventura is a nice ship, but the organisation and some minor gripes make it easy to grade it lower than Aurora. We had an accessible cabin which was lovely, with plenty of room for the wheelchair, and a superior seat in the shower area. The navigation to the lifts was easy, and most corridors were wide enough for easy transit. Meals in

First Time Cruiser
• Age 40s
This was our first cruise and we were full of worries based on assumptions before we went. We travelled as a family, 2 adults, 2 teens and a pre schooler. Hands down this was the best holiday we have ever been on.All areas of the ship were spotless, all staff were attentive and the food options endless. We had smiley staff who were attentive, jokey and made a real effort with all of our

P&O; Where they answer the telephone within one ring to take your booking and money, to then make you wait 3 hours every time you try to contact them about anything on the telephone or 33 days to reply to your online contact request!! The CEO is just as useless if you contact him! Amenities; Nothing advertised is available once you are onboard, the staff are of little help not knowing basics

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azura

• Age 60s
On first sight Azura looks the business but it's evident on board this ship needs some care and attention. From out of order toilets, sinks and lifts to the constant smell of sewerage throughout the ship?Rooms (we had a standard balcony room) was decent with all the basics. But air-conditioning struggles and stuffy inside esp at night when trying to sleep. Bathroom small needs an

Difficult to know where to start. Far too many passengers for the public /open areas. Pools particularly crowded and had a commuter train feel whenever we braved it. The overcrowding lead to queues everywhere. Possibly a tactic to serve less drink to those who were intent on getting best value from their drinks packages. If you like a lot of food it’s perfect. If you like good food

This was our first cruise and we were a little worried after reading some of the poor reviews on here and other sites. All I can say is that those leaving poor reviews must be very fussy. We chose this short cruise just to try it out and it was great!Yes the pools were busy and spare sunbeds hard to find but we aren't into pools and sunbathing anyway and I'm sure if you wanted a dip in the

Good ship but sort the lifts and Horizon
Review for a on Britannia

10+ Cruises
• Age 60s
Britannia is a nice ship but as with many cruise companies cutbacks have been made, rooms serviced once a day and especially with quality of food in Horizon and to some extent in the speciality restaurants too.Our cabin steward was excellent, probably the best in nearly 20 cruises. Our main issue was the lifts. For our two week trip 2 lifts midship were out of order. Some bypassed floors

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Aurora

10+ Cruises

This cruise has redeemed P&O somewhat in our eyes, following a rather unpleasant Caribbean cruise on Arvia in March (Never again!). Aurora is the smallest P&O ship, and the fastest, and has a lot to recommend it, despite being in need of a refit. She is well-designed and boasts a lot of venues, and the adults only rule is a bonus, although many of her proud fan-base are somewhat advanced in
