Aurora is dated and is well past if best before date. The ship was full and it felt full. Spent 14 nights on Arvia began to feel like 2 months towards the end. Overcrowded ship, queued for lifts, drinks and food. Swimming pools are tiny and full, pot luck getting in a hot tub. I am fairly loyal to P&O and still find the line a good choice. Ventura is a nice ship, but the organisation and some minor gripes make it easy to grade it lower than Aurora. We had an accessible cabin which was lovely, with plenty of room for the wheelchair, and a superior seat in the shower area. P&O; Where they answer the telephone within one ring to take your booking and money, to then make you wait 3 hours every time you try to contact them about anything on the telephone or 33 days to reply to your online contact request!! The CEO is just as useless if you contact him! Amenities; Nothing advertised is available once you are onboard, the staff are of little help not knowing basics

On first sight Azura looks the business but it's evident on board this ship needs some care and attention. Difficult to know where to start. Far too many passengers for the public /open areas. Pools particularly crowded and had a commuter train feel whenever we braved it. Britannia is a nice ship but as with many cruise companies cutbacks have been made, rooms serviced once a day and especially with quality of food in Horizon and to some extent in the speciality restaurants too.Our cabin steward was excellent, probably the best in nearly 20 cruises.
